BIG BOOK OF WORDS
Ages: 3-6
|
Author:Catherine Lukas - Robert Power (illustrator)
Very pleased!
I purchased this book for my 3yr old who's a big fan of Little Bill. He enjoys me reading all the words to him, so much that he now reads them to me. For every picture on each page you'll see a word that tells what the picture is (example: you'll see a picture of a bike, next to the picture you'll see the word Bike or Bicycle. This helps the children identify the letters/words as well as teach them how to spell. Great book for preschoolers and grades K-1

They take off and land on the bouncy planet of Yubba and find Captain Brainstorm's friends trapped in a cave by a giant robot. Little Bill quickly volunteers to disable the robot by turning the key that is deep inside the giant robot. Once inside, Little Bill discovers there is tiny space alien who wants to meet Muskara, Chaka and Spark-E, but he only feels safe inside the giant robot and he accidentally got the robot's foot caught in the cave. Little Bill quickly puts the space alien at ease and tells him that the best way to make new friends is to simply introduce yourself. The story expertly showcases how easy it is to make new friends when you act like yourself and also clearly illustrates how active a child's imagination can be.
