C&B BOOKS, was started in 1995, by Carol Rogers & Brenda Piper.Two years ago we started the C&B Book club, the club has grown immensely.The motivation behind this book business, was the lack of affordable books written by black authors. We decided to become an asset to our Youth and the African American commuitiy in a whole. We offer our books for less then the major stores, we knew this would provide our readers with a wider variety of reading material. We have, titles for all ages in all catagories, fiction, non-fiction, spiritual, inspirational, educational etc.

This was a fun read for the whole family. BOBO's World is rollercoaster ride of the supernatural, with a touch of young romance. Bobo realizes he has these special powers that guide him into helping the world. When mysterious things tend to happen unexpectedly, Bobo tries to conquer them on his own. He winds up on a strange planet wandering to see what will happen next. Bobo finally realizes that this is only in his dreams. This is a fantastic story for children with great imaginations. Bobo's World will take you a ride of the supernatural with evil psychics who are out to get him, but his friends are their to guide him to help save the world. When Bobo finds love with a girl in his class, he learns that girls are not the enemy. A.A. Roberts did a wonderful job creating this fantasy story for children and adults. This was one of the greatest stories I have ever read for children. We need more stories like these to help children grow intellectually. Keep up the great work A.A. Roberts , our families will definitely enjoy this science fiction, fantasy story. My favorite chapters were 'The Library Surprise,' 'The Girl of My Dreams,' 'A Very Special Day,' and 'Bobocula Comes to Town.'

When He Calls is a well written novel, which gives parents guidance into seeing how teens behave in modern society. You can overcome many challenges in this work of fiction. If you are truly from a Christian household, you may enjoy this novel as it touches many aspects in a God fearing society.

She becomes a Queenpin as she is seemingly focused into a war of drug dealing & wheeling and murder, sex and scandal. Each one of her characters has a unique sense of being. They play a role in everyday life that we still see to this very day. Especially to those who live in the hood. If you can relate to this story, then you are in for a rollercoaster ride of excitement and drama. In the heart of East Oakland, drives one young woman to the point of no return. As this young lady has the drive to leave the hood and become a successful lawyer and help rebuild the community. What I loved most about this book was how Macavelli Press added two parts from Ms. Johnson second novel. The book �I�ll Cry Tomorrow,� which is the continuation to �From a Hard Rock to a Gem.�
