BOOK DESCRIPTION:
Summer of 2001, I went to a public park in central Brooklyn to witness to people about Christ. Prior to that time, I had never witnessed to more than one person at a time. I am best when it comes to one-on-one, personal evangelism. It's my thing. I enjoy it. I had been afraid of groups because I was not sure what the reaction would be. With uncertain steps, I approached a group, which chatted heartily under a big tree. I presented the Gospel to them the best way I knew. They did not seem to understand. Help came in the form of the only girl in a group of four. Somehow, she understood that she was a sin-ner and needed to repent. She was the one that "preached" to the rest. She said something like this to them, "The man is saying, 'don't go your own way. It's not going to work. Go the way of God." In less than a fraction of the time I spent, they understood her. They nodded to show their agreement. We all held hands and prayed. I was overjoyed to lead four people to Christ at once.
