C&B BOOKS, was started in 1995, by Carol Rogers & Brenda Piper. The motivation behind this book business, was the lack of affordable books written by black authors. We decided to become an asset to our Youth and the African American community in a whole. We offer our books for less then the major stores, we knew this would provide our readers with a wider variety of reading material. We have, titles for all ages in all catagories, fiction, non-fiction, spiritual, inspirational, educational etc.

Makes History In the Literary World!

Street Author Relentless Aaron,
Signs 10-Book Deal with St. Martin's Press

New Yorker Relentless Aaron impacted the book industry head-first in a very unconventional way. Writing 30 riveting novels including Push, Platinum Dolls, The Last Kingpin, To Live and Die in Harlem, Topless, Sugar Daddy, Rappers R' in Danger , while serving time in a federal prison, the head strong author published ten of those books within the first 18 months of his release !
Over the last two years, he has literally moved hundreds of thousands of those books in the streets of New York, Chicago, New Orleans, California, Boston and beyond at promotional events and through his own unique syndication of vending tables. He has created such a street cult following that the New York Times made him the subject of a recent feature story.
A pioneer in the new wave of urban street literature, Relentless Aaron signed a six-figure, four book deal with publishing giant St. Martin's Press back in 2005, joining ranks with authors Jackie Collins, Cindy Adams and LA Banks and Francis Ray, all of whom are signed to the publishing house..
Due to popular demand however, Relentless has just entered into yet another deal with St. Martin's and is contracted for ten additional titles! His first release, Extramarital Affairs is scheduled to hit stores this September.
Relentless remarks, The streets know me and my characters, but with my new affiliation with St. Martin's, I'm looking forward to greatly expanding my base. Extramarital Affairs, a story about a married couple addicted to sex and caught up in a murder, will reel the readers!
Relentless has published 10 of his thirty novels, as well as a how-to book entitled, I Did It You Can Too, and his nine-year-old daughter's book, ABC's For A Positive Me, under his own Relentless Content publishing banner. He is also the only author to be sponsored by urban wear clothiers Southpole. He in fact, has a contract with the company to sponsor his Reader's Are Leaders Literary campaign that will visit schools year round.
Relentless is as Relentless does. In the tradition of great urban authors Claude Brown, Iceberg Slim, and Donald Goines, Relentless Aaron is the new Father of Urban Fiction. Driving himself at such a relentless pace, its only a matter of time before the big screen embraces his special brand of urban street fiction next !
