McRae is a native New Yorker who uses poetry to connect people, conveying messages of inspiration and motivation often from her personal experiences in dealing with life's stresses and difficult times. She is also a dynamic motivational speaker and workshop facilitator and has been featured on television and radio.

The Queens Book Fair will be held at the Jamaica Market Harvest Room located at 90-60 160th street, Jamaica, New York. The Book Fair is sponsored by C & B Books Distribution, Inc. The Book Fair will begin at 11:00 am and end at 7:00 pm. C & B Books Distribution, Inc. was founded by Caroline Rogers and Co-founded by Brenda Piper. Rashida Aisha Ali is an author, artist, educator and philanthropist who lectures nationwide catering to female audiences, conducting workshops, seminars and symposiums on women related topics such as health and wellness, natural healing with alternative approaches, sexuality, male/female relationships and matters relating to the spiritual and metaphysical realm.
