Zach is a man like no other, the title speaks for itself. He is a somewhat older man that loves Amanda unconditionally. There were times when I thought Amanda needed professional counseling. She had everything right under her nose and could not see it. I wanted to shake her myself, even though I sympathized with the abusive situation she grew up in. You will not want to put this book down until completed. If you know the song When a Man Loves A Woman by Percy Sledge, then this is the kind of man Zach was.

Working in the corporate world myself, I absolutely related to this book. Recognizing that everyone is not going to like every book they read, I give this author kudos. Ms. Moorman did an EXCELLENT job is capturing the modern workplace -- with all its treachery and triumphs. The characters were very real and well connected. Having never visited Washington, DC, I really appreciated traveling through the city and being exposed to places that one does not normally see or hear about Washington, DC The multiracial characters were refreshing -- something that is rarely depicted in books by African American and Caucasian writers. I felt that the characters were well balanced and fit the roles they played. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants an easy to read and easy to follow book. It was entertaining and realistic. I am looking forward to the author's next novel. I like her writing style. I lucked up on the book from a friend, and I'm glad I read it.
