BOOK DESCRIPTION:
What exactly is a "Gambit"? A Gambit in the game of chess is where a player can sacrifice a piece to gain a temporary advantage, only to get that piece back later in the game.
As an avid chess player, I got the story line for A Gambit for Love when I realized how much chess parallels all facets of life, especially love. For instance there are three stages of a relationship just as there are in love.

The opening:
In love - When you first meet someone and everything is new.
In chess - When you first start the game.

The middle:
In love - When you grow accustomed to that person's tendencies.
In chess - When pieces start being exchanged.

The end:
In love - When you realize that this relationship is over.
In chess - More than likely when the king is checkmated and the game is over

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Sean Miller, a native of Hillside, NJ. Where while growing up, he experienced many of life's lessons. It is also where his first novel "A Gambit For Love" is loosely based.
Sean attended college at Norfolk State University in Norfolk,VA. While there, he discovered his passion for writing and thus began his jouney by writing poetry and short stories.
During his journey, he joined the U.S. Naval Reserve where he served for 6 years. Sean's highly anticipated first novel "A Gambit for love," cleverly relates the characteristic moves of chess to the parellels of love.
