We decided to become an asset to our Youth and the African American community in a whole. We offer our books for less then the major stores, we knew this would provide our readers with a wider variety of reading material. We have, titles for all ages in all catagories, fiction, non-fiction, spiritual, inspirational, educational etc.

BOOK DESCRIPTION:
In Marriage and the Family, Bertha shares with us over 40 years experience, and the wisdom it has afforded her. Bertha was married at a young age and, like many others, had to grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually as a woman, as she learned how to be a good friend and wife to her husband and a good mother to her children. What sets Bertha apart from many of the other women who share her experiences is her willingness to share what she knows so that others might benefit from her wisdom for the betterment of their own relationships. In the, her most recent book, Bertha freely shares what her experience as a wife and mother has taught her. She honestly informs the reader of the rewards one can enjoy and pitfalls one is bound to encounter during the course of marriage. She speaks on the importance of being committed to one's mate. She advocates the concept of compromise and sharing, and strongly suggests never letting anger take root in one's relationship.
One can learn much from a person who lives life to the fullest, facing each challenge head-on and accepting responsibility for, and learning from her mistakes. It's not all roses and lollipops. But Bertha lets uses know that even though marriage can be hard, once a relationship has grown and matured, it can also bring so much joy to the two people sharing it. Rarely does one find such an unselfish author who is willing to open her heart and life, giving so much of herself so honestly and completely, to her readers.
I salute Bertha Davis for her strength, courage and conviction to give of herself that others might learn and grow as they derive pleasures from reading this treasure sprung straight form Bertha's heart.
